On 06/11/2018, the Miller County Sheriff's Office received information about human remains in a rural area of Miller County. The Miller County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation after confirming the human remains, and is being assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control. Identification of the body or cause of death has not been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. An autopsy will be scheduled and more information will be provided at a later time.
