After an autopsy was completed on the 13th of June, investigators with the Miller County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control, have identified the human remains as a male individual that had been entered into the National Missing Persons Database. Investigating agencies are ruling the death as a homicide, but are not releasing the actual identity of the person due to the ongoing investigation and until all family notifications have been made. Nothing further will be released at this time.
