Clinton County fugitive arrested after multi county pursuit

On 07/28/2018 Miller County Communications received a report of a pursuit traveling northbound on Highway 17 entering Miller County from Pulaski County. The information received was that Crocker Police were pursuing the vehicle because the driver had felony warrants for his arrest out of Clinton County, Missouri. Deputies were dispatched to the area, and took the lead on the pursuit just north of Iberia. During the pursuit, speeds reached in excess of 100 mph. A Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper was able to successfully deploy spike sticks and deflate one of the vehicles tires. The vehicle traveled approximately one mile further, where deputies were able to stop the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brandon Mencik 36 of Plattsburg, Missouri. Mencik was arrested on a felony outstanding Clinton County warrant with a $40,000 cash only bond, and has been charged by the Miller County Prosecutor with felony resisting arrest. He is currently being held at the Miller County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
